Álvaro Calvo
This ongoing project was carried out in Aragón and part of its rural setting, where the photographer Álvaro Calvo has documented the COVID-19 pandemic, striving to cover several different points of view. His testimony in the guise of images conveys the impact that the coronavirus has had in different areas of society and shows us how this disease has changed our lives and our concept of the future. This leads us to stop and think and appreciate people and their work, the new relations we have created among human beings, with our world and with the world. To Calvo, it is important to treat each photograph from a human standpoint, seeking stories which contain this way of looking, as well as simplicity in order to speak about the local in a universal way.
